Twiggler is a totally browser-based Twitter client. It offers a level of interaction and organization which is hard to find in Twitter clients, social networks, or web applications in general.

We chose Twitter as the basis for our first LM web application for a variety of reasons: Twitter has an open API, it's popular, and most Twitter clients are not quite simple.

Twiggler allowed us to put into practice our ideas regarding minimalist interface design and letting the user control how his or her information is displayed on the screen. It also contains some of our ideas regarding how users will organize, search and share their information in the future.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Twiggler is that it only took about one month to write. This is because we built it from existing building blocks, which fit together so easily in LM.
